Rob's Mother's Day Program....and some pics.
Rob's teachers helped him make a Mother's Day card, with fill in the blanks. Here's what Rob said:
My Mom's name is ..... Susan
She is ... 46 ... years old (um, no)
My Mom is as pretty as .... a monkey..... (WHAT?????)
I love my Mom because she ...... is a grown up ......
The class sang 3 songs, My Mother is a Baker, Love Grows and M-O-M. It was very cute, and Rob was a super performer. I have a video, but so far haven't been able to post it, I'll try again.

Return of the blog.
It's been forever since I've updated this blog, and I decided that I need to share pictures much more often, so I'm going to make an effort to do so. The kids are growing and changing so much that it's not really fair to keep these cuties to myself, I must share them with the world (well, ok, maybe not the world, but all of you reading).
Rob is finishing up his year of 4 year old kindergarten, and will be going to regular kindergarten in the fall. Unfortunately, he didn't get into the fine arts magnet school that I wanted him to go to, but he will be attending our neighborhood school, which is a really nice school. Rob has been taking Tai Kwan Do classes for the past few months, and is enjoying it. His instructor says that he should be ready to test for his first belt in May, can't wait to see him try to break a board (I've been reassured that it is the easiest part of the test, and it won't hurt him, the instructor must have seen the panic on my face when he mentioned that part of it). Rob doesn't know that this is part of the test yet, and I'm sure that he will be talking about it for months after it happens.
Jaina is loving her sitter, Lynda, and all of the other kids there. The girls tend to get into some spats at times, mostly when one touches the other's shoes or clothes. Yikes, it starts already and she's only 2.
We're in the final push to summer now, and are looking forward to spending some time in Winnipeg this summer with Grandma and Grandpa (if the drive there doesn't kill me).
